Forming twelve tiny patties is fiddly. Instead, press all the beef into one pan, bake it as a single sheet and cut it to fit the rolls. Every slider comes out the same size.
Ground beef needs to reach 160°F in the thickest part. Color is not a reliable test, so use an instant-read thermometer, inserted from the side for thin patties.

Method
Heat the oven to 400°F. Mix the beef, onion, Worcestershire, salt and pepper gently with your hands and press evenly into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, until the beef reaches 160°F. Carefully pour off the fat.
Top the beef with the cheese and bacon and return to the oven for 2 minutes to melt.
Slice the rolls in half horizontally as one sheet. Use two spatulas to lift the beef onto the bottom half, add pickles and sauce and replace the top.
Brush the tops with melted butter, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for 5 minutes, until golden. Cut into sliders.
