This is the homemade version of the boxed dinner many of us grew up with, made with real cheese and ready in about the same time. The pasta cooks right in the sauce, following our one-pot pasta formula.
Brown the beef to 160°F and drain the fat before adding the liquid.

Method
Brown the beef and onion in a large pot or deep skillet over medium-high heat, breaking up the meat, until no pink remains. Drain off excess fat.
Stir in the garlic, tomato paste, Worcestershire, mustard and paprika and cook for 1 minute.
Add the broth, tomatoes and pasta. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer over medium-low, stirring every few minutes, for 10 to 12 minutes, until the pasta is tender.
Take off the heat and stir in the cheese until melted. Season with salt.
Top with pickles and green onions for the full cheeseburger effect.
